An aniline (pull-up) leather suited to residential and contract settings. Full specification and certification are available to download for project and contract use.

Aniline leather is a premium, naturally finished leather that requires attentive care. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For general cleaning, wipe very gently with a lightly dampened white cloth and allow to dry naturally away from heat. Treat any spills immediately by blotting carefully with absorbent paper — never rub, as this may spread the stain or damage the surface. Use only specialist aniline leather cleaners and protectors; standard leather care products or household cleaners can cause irreversible damage. Always test any product on a hidden area first. Keep well away from direct sunlight and all heat sources — aniline leather is more susceptible to fading and drying than pigmented leathers. Do not use solvents, heat guns or shrink wrapping. Natural markings, colour variation and patina development over time are inherent qualities of aniline leather and signs of its authenticity. For domestic use, fully clean and re-protect every 3–6 months. For contract use, implement a regular cleaning and maintenance programme.

Tested to BS 5852 (Crib 5), BS EN 1021-1 and BS EN 1021-2, achieving a pass — suitable for severe-hazard contract and hospitality settings. Certification is available on request.

Hides in this range average 5 m² (approx. 54 sq ft). As a natural material, every hide varies slightly in size and shape, so allow for this when calculating quantities. See the hide diagram for typical dimensions and regions. Download the hide diagram.

Aniline leather carries no surface pigment, so the natural beauty of the hide comes through in full. You’ll see the grain, occasional small marks and healed scratches, and gentle variation in colour within and between hides — the hallmarks of a genuine, natural material. It will soften and gain character as it ages.
