1. Who we are
This policy explains how Crest Leather Ltd, Crest Leather Limited (“Crest Leather”, “we”, “us”) uses personal information collected through our website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 03610819, at 202–204 Finchley Road, London NW3 6BX. For any question about this policy, email sales@crestleather.com.
2. What we collect
(a) Sample requests: name, company, delivery address, email, phone number and the samples requested.
(b) Accounts: email and password, or mobile number if you sign in with a text message code.
(c) Newsletter: name, email and company.
(d) Enquiries: your contact details and message.
(e) Website use: IP address, browser and pages visited, partly through cookies (see section 6).
3. How we use it and why
(a) To send samples and manage your account: because you have asked us to.
(b) To answer enquiries, follow up sample requests and run the website: our legitimate interest in running our business.
(c) To send our newsletter: your consent. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
(d) Google Analytics: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
(e) To keep records the law requires.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with: Blue Frontier, who built and help maintain the website; the providers of our sign-in text messages, icons (Font Awesome) and analytics (Google); couriers who deliver samples; our offices in Italy, the United States and South Africa, for requests from their region; and authorities where the law requires. Where information goes outside the UK, we use the safeguards UK law requires.
5. How long we keep it
Sample requests and enquiries: 12 months. Accounts: until 12 months after last use. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: the shortest period Google Analytics allows.
6. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to make the website work, and Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon.

7. Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, to stop or limit how we use it, or to transfer it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email sales@crestleather.com.
