Leather is a by-product of the meat industry. Around 99% of the world’s leather comes from hides produced by meat and dairy farming, not from animals reared for their skins. We work with what already exists, and we make it last.
Sustainable manufacturing is both a daily practice and a long-term commitment, combining responsibly sourced hides, water-efficient tanning, renewable energy, and considered craftsmanship to create leather with lasting value for generations. All water used in our operations is carefully monitored, treated, and reused in full compliance with European environmental standards.
Our people are the foundation of everything we make. Skills are passed down through generations of tanners and finishers, supported by structured training and long-term investment in our teams. We uphold fair, safe and transparent working conditions at every site we operate, and hold our suppliers to the same standards across the supply chain.
Energy sustainability is central to our operations. We power our facilities with solar and biomass energy, optimise machinery for energy efficiency while integrating water recycling and low-impact tanning into every stage of production.
