A bespoke window seat brings warmth and character to a newly renovated kitchen, diner and lounge in Scotland.
Created by upholsterer Gwyneth Stewart of Studio9 Upholstery, the made-to-measure seating was designed to complement the clients’ new kitchen, diner and lounge renovation. Crest’s Old English leather in Malt was selected for the upholstery, bringing a rich, warm brown tone to the window seat.
The deep buttoned upholstery creates a tactile focal point beneath the large windows, with the natural character of the leather working alongside the timber flooring, painted cabinetry and patterned wall covering. The result is a considered piece of bespoke upholstery designed specifically for the space.
